About The Study
Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa, is a skin condition that causes painful lumps deep in your skin. These typically develop on parts of the body where skin touches skin, like the armpits, inner thighs, and groin area. If left untreated this skin condition can worsen over time, becoming a more severe and painful disease that, in some cases, might cause disability.
Researchers are looking for adults with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) to participate in a clinical research study. This study is aimed at evaluating investigational medication for HS over 62 weeks.
Study Criteria
To qualify, participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have had HS for at least 3 months
- Have at least 5 active HS lesions (such as bumps, boils and/or abscesses)
- Have been prescribed an HS treatment that did not improve your symptoms
Why Participate?
If you join, you will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost to you or your insurer. Compensation for time and travel may also be provided to eligible participants.
